The new Khao Lak season for 2012-2013 is fast approaching. In just 2 weeks the Similan Islands will open and the High Season will officially start. Green Andaman Travel is in full swing making arrangements and completing bookings – not that there was any sign of a Low Season (Low Season, what does that mean? It certainly didn’t seem very low to us). We have been busy adjusting tours, making new friends and working on our information network. It’s not only Green Andaman Travel that has been making changes though, Khao Lak (Bang Niang) is even getting a new walkway! Though when that will be completed, we’re not sure 😉
If you’re reading this then you have obviously made your way to our new website. We’re very proud of our new information station and will continue to make changes, improvements and updates. Please take 5 minutes to have a look around the site and then tell us what you think; we have tried to make it as informative and as easy to navigate as possible. If you have any requests for tours or information you would like to see appear on here, feel free to let us know through the contact form or simply leave a comment below.
This season also sees the introduction of new tours to Green Andaman Travel’s ever expanding list of itineraries. The most recent being the Khao Sok Lake Diving Tour, which is a fun tour spent both diving the lake and trekking through the jungle – we’re very excited about this one. Other new tours now available through Green Andaman Travel are Elephant Bathing, White Water Rafting, Snorkelling in the Similans or Koh Tachai and soon we will be offering trips to Koh Rah Island, a deserted island paradise.
From these new tours new partnerships have formed too. This year we will be offering dive trips with Similan Seven Sea Club and Thailand DIve and Sail; the latter will also be our partners taking care of the diving on the Khao Sok Diving Tour.
With all these new activities afoot in the Green Andaman Travel office and with the unveiling of our new website and blog today, it is very apt that this is the beginning of the Chinese Vegetarian Festival – a time in Southern Thailand to cleanse the body and make a fresh new start for the year. If you’re in the area we strongly suggest checking out the activities in your nearest Chinese Temple.
Thank you for taking the time to read our new blog, please do check in again for regular updates!
