Khao Lak Golf at Thap Lamu Navy Golf Course

If you are visiting Khao Lak and are looking for a good golf course, we recommend a day’s golfing at Thap Lamu golf course. Golfing here is a very unique experience in this tropical country. Golfers travel from far away to play on this course due to its beautiful location in Khao Lak next to the Andaman Sea and surrounded by the Khao Lak Mountains. This Khao Lak golf course is considered to be one of the most beautiful courses in all of Thailand.

The 18-hole, par 72 course consists of 7,160 metres spread across 5 fairways and was established in 2001. It is maintained by the Thai Navy so is always immaculate and kept to the highest standards.

Khao Lak Golf Course by the Beach

Thap Lamu Navy Golf Course, Khao Lak, is a full 18 hole golf course with an equipped clubhouse serving refreshments and meals. The clubhouse also has a small shop for purchasing any last minute golfing equipment you might need and it rents out golf clubs and golf shoes too. Caddies are available – you will probably want one in this heat! There are refreshment stands through the golf course ready to serve you a cold water or beer.

Khao Lak Golf at Katathong Golf Course

Katathong Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course nestled between three stunning misty mountains in Phang Nga, Southern Thailand, Khao Nang Hong, Khao Tao and the tallest of the three Katathong Mountain recognised by its gently curved summit.

Despite being a newly opened course, Katathong already has a rich history as a former tin mine, an industry which boomed in Phang Nga as far back as the 15th century. The owner of Katathong, Somkiat Ratanarungsiwat, is a life long local whose forefathers were directly involved in tin trading.

The stunning golf course offers lush green mountain views from every angle with courses that follow the natural contours of the land featuring undulating hills, sand traps and a beautiful natural reservoir. But the course is not as tranquil as you might expect, with an abundance of natural waterfalls and streams, the air is filled with the sounds of cascading water.

Players will enjoy the challenges offered by the narrow fairways that require more strategic thinking, precision and accuracy, and the Par 3 courses that go up as well as down! Above all Katathong is a sanctuary for golfers who arrive to play golf, but leave with a deeper respect for nature.

A 9 holes golf course surrounded by nature, located 25 minutes from Khao Lak, Thailand and 15 minutes from Bangsak Beach.

The name “KIRINARA” means mountain and river, which describes the scenery of our golf course. An untouched stream from the mountain is the main source of water that feeds into our 9 hole golf course. KIRINARA was designed with preserving the surrounding nature in mind. These natural qualities provides both beauty and challenges for players to experience. The combination of long and short holes with dense palm trees, water hazards, tough greens and mountainous slopes calls for an exciting round of golf.
