Phang Nga Bay (full day). Phangnga Bay is renowned for its
many dramatic limestone islands. These distinctive sheer rock formations
jut vertically out of the emerald
green water. At low tide, cave tunnels are exposed amongst the huge rocks,
allowing entrance by sea canoe through
areas of untouched nature and into
hidden lagoons behind the bay.
Phang Nga’s most famous limestone rock, Tapu Island, is also known as James Bond Island (from the film
“The Man with The Golden Gun”).
Enjoy an authentic Thai lunch at Pan Yee village, the local Muslim fishing
settlement, and take the opportunity
to browse around. On the way back to the hotel, we stop at the Golden Cave
Temple or at Suwanakhuha Temple.
